Hydra Host Raises $100M for GPU Marketplace

Boulder, Colorado-based Hydra Host has secured $100 million in a Series A round led by Kindred Ventures, with participation from Nvidia, Ark Invest, Founders Fund and others. The startup operates a distributed GPU marketplace and data center operating system called Brokkr, deployed across 50-plus data centers globally. Rather than building its own data centers, Hydra Host aggregates GPU supply from providers worldwide to offer flexible compute capacity. CEO Aaron Ginn says funds will expand its GPU-as-a-service platform, grow its software team and scale global operations amid surging AI infrastructure demand.
