HPE Labs Links AI Sovereignty and Quantum Security

HPE Labs director Andrew Wheeler says every customer conversation now covers three topics: AI, quantum computing, and sovereignty. Wheeler told theCUBE that over 170 countries have enacted data protection frameworks, and enterprise AI is intensifying demand for local data control. HPE is advancing quantum key distribution for secure communications and confidential computing to protect data in use across CPUs and GPUs. The company is also building post-quantum cryptography readiness into compute and networking infrastructure, framing quantum security as both a defensive necessity and a national competitive capability.
