HPE Boosts Private Cloud AI With Nvidia Vera Chips

Hewlett Packard Enterprise unveiled a major expansion of its Private Cloud AI portfolio at HPE Discover in Las Vegas, adding Nvidia Vera CPUs, the Nvidia Agent Toolkit, and broader Confidential Computing support. The updates aim to help enterprises deploy autonomous AI agents securely on-premises, meeting strict compliance requirements in regulated industries. Key additions include the new ProLiant DL394 Gen12 server launching in early 2027, governance tools for vetting AI models, and Zerto Software to detect and reverse rogue agent actions. Nvidia Confidential Computing is now available across HPE's entire Private Cloud AI hardware lineup.
