Harness has launched AI agents that detect, triage, and patch software vulnerabilities, with developers approving fixes before deployment. The system uses an AI-enhanced static scanner to cut false positives, a Triage Agent to filter exploitable findings, a Remediation Agent to draft and validate fixes, and a Zero-Day Agent that monitors newly disclosed flaws around the clock. The release comes as attackers can move from public vulnerability disclosure to working exploit in under six hours, while average fix times exceed 50 days. Built on technology from Harness's acquisition of Qwiet AI, the agents share a single reachability dataset and integrate with existing LLM scanners. Virtual patching blocks exploitation in production without requiring code changes.
