Harmonic Security raises $50M for AI governance

Harmonic Security has raised $50 million in an oversubscribed Series B round led by Crosspoint Capital Partners to expand its platform that governs employee use of AI tools. The platform uses custom small language models to inspect what employees send to AI tools in milliseconds, catching risks like live credentials in chat windows. Coverage now extends to desktop AI apps and agentic workflows. Integrations include Cisco's Cloud Control and Anthropic's Claude Compliance API. The company has over 100 enterprise customers, more than 90 staff across the US and UK, and has raised $76 million in total.
