Gudea raises $7M to predict social media crises

Gudea, a startup founded in 2023, uses AI to help organizations detect and prevent social media crises before they escalate. Unlike traditional social listening tools that track mentions and hashtags, Gudea analyzes behavior, relationships, and information pathways across more than 500 platforms including X, Reddit, and TikTok. The company has nearly 40 clients, including Fortune 50 companies and government agencies. CEO Keith Presley noted that inauthentic online activity has surged from one in four cases to nine in ten. Gudea recently raised $7 million in seed funding, bringing total funding to approximately $15 million.
