Groq Raises $350M, Nvidia Set to Join
AI cloud startup Groq has secured $350 million in a Series A round led by returning backer Disruptive, with Nvidia planning to join the round at an unspecified amount. The raise comes less than three months after Groq closed a $650 million funding round.
Groq pivoted to cloud services after Nvidia licensed its chip technology in a $20 billion deal last December. The company now operates GroqCloud, an AI-optimized public cloud running across 13 data centers. It plans to expand capacity from 57 megawatts to over 200 megawatts next year.
