xAI's Grok 4.7 is now available on Amazon Bedrock, offering a 500K token context window and configurable reasoning effort at four levels: low, medium, high, and xhigh. Designed for coding, long-running agents, and knowledge work, the model uses a larger base trained on harder, longer tasks. It features improved self-verification, reducing compounding errors in agentic workflows. Independent evaluations from Artificial Analysis show gains in coding agents, long-horizon knowledge work, and hallucination rates, though output tokens per task roughly double at xhigh effort. The model is served via cross-Region inference profiles on the bedrock-runtime endpoint.
