Google's CC AI Agent Now Manages Family Households

Google is expanding its CC AI agent to help families manage household tasks, including signing permission slips, creating meal plans, tracking school schedules, and coordinating shared calendars. The agent gets its own Google account, supports up to six family members, and can automate email sharing from schools, doctors, and activity organizers. Originally a personal productivity tool, CC shifted focus after users requested help with family logistics. Currently limited to U.S. adults with personal Gmail accounts, the service excludes minors and school-provided emails — a notable gap given how many students rely on Google tools daily. Existing users will be invited to upgrade soon, while new users can join a waitlist.
