Google Workspace Gets AI Voice, Image, Inbox Upgrades

Google unveiled sweeping AI upgrades to its Workspace suite at Google I/O 2026, including conversational tools for Gmail, Docs, and Keep. Gmail Live answers inbox queries on the go, Docs Live acts as a brainstorming partner, and Keep captures and organizes spontaneous ideas using Gemini 3.5 Flash. Google also launched Google Pics, a precision image editing app with object segmentation and text translation features, while Gmail's AI Inbox gains smarter draft replies and task management. A new personal agent called Gemini Spark was also announced. Most features roll out first to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, with Workspace business access following by summer.
