Google Renames NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook

Google has rebranded its AI research tool NotebookLM as Gemini Notebook, integrating it more deeply into the Gemini ecosystem and Google Search's AI Mode. The platform gains agentic capabilities powered by Gemini 3.5 and over 100 curated software skills. A key upgrade is secure cloud computing for each notebook, enabling code execution and deeper analysis without exposing sensitive data. This feature is currently available to Ultra subscribers at $100 per month and enterprise Workspace customers, with Pro user access coming in the following weeks.
