Google Photos Launches AI Video Remix Tool

Google Photos is rolling out a new Video Remix feature powered by Gemini Omni, enabling users to transform videos with cinematic relighting, background swaps, and artistic styles like watercolor and oil painting. The tool is accessible via the Create tab in Google Photos. The feature is available today for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers across 15 countries including the U.S., India, and Brazil. It is part of Google's broader push to embed generative AI tools into consumer apps to compete with Apple, OpenAI, and Adobe.
