Google Launches Nano Banana 2 Lite and Omni Flash

Google has released two new generative media models: Nano Banana 2 Lite, its fastest and most cost-efficient image model, and Gemini Omni Flash, a video generation and editing model now available to developers. Nano Banana 2 Lite delivers text-to-image outputs in 4 seconds at $0.034 per 1,000 images, while Omni Flash supports conversational video editing at $0.10 per second of output. Both models are available in Google AI Studio, the Gemini API and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Nano Banana 2 Lite is also rolling out across consumer products including Search, the Gemini app, NotebookLM and Google Photos, enabling end-to-end multimedia workflows for developers and everyday users alike.
