Google Launches Gemini Intelligence, Googlebook Laptops

Google unveiled Gemini Intelligence, a suite of AI-powered Android features capable of executing multi-step tasks via natural language commands. Capabilities include automated trip booking, Chrome research assistance, an upgraded autofill connected to Google services, a transcript-cleaning keyboard feature called Rambler, and a widget-creation tool. The features roll out to Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices this summer. Google also previewed Googlebooks, a new premium laptop category built by HP, Dell, and Lenovo. The machines run a hybrid ChromeOS-Android operating system and include features like Magic Pointer, which summons Gemini by hovering over content, a laptop version of Create My Widget, Android app support, and seamless phone file access via Quick Access.
