Google Launches Gemini 2.0 for Advanced AI Experiences - Google has launched Gemini 2.0, a foundational AI model for generative agents and assistants. Gemini 2.0 Flash improves on its predecessor with faster, more efficient, and multimodal capabilities. Key projects include Project Astra for natural conversations and tool usage, and Project Mariner, a web-surfing AI agent.
Moreover, the Jules coding agent helps developers by automating tedious tasks. Gemini 2.0 is currently in early access, with plans to extend to more Google products and users beginning January 2025.
