Google Launches Antigravity 2.0 for Agentic Development
Google has unveiled Antigravity 2.0 at Google I/O, a standalone desktop platform enabling developers to orchestrate multiple AI agents working in parallel. Powered by the new Gemini 3.5 Flash model, it introduces dynamic subagents, scheduled background tasks, and integrations with Firebase and Android. New tools include Antigravity CLI and SDK for terminal-based and programmatic agent access. Google also launched Managed Agents in the Gemini API, allowing developers to spin up reasoning agents with a single API call. Google AI Studio gains Antigravity coding agents, Workspace integration, a mobile app, and one-prompt native Android app building with direct Google Play publishing.
