Google Launches AI Smart Glasses With Warby Parker
Google announced a new line of AI-powered audio glasses at Google I/O 2026, developed in partnership with Warby Parker, Gentle Monster, and Samsung. The devices work with both Android and iOS and are set to launch later this year.
Users can issue verbal commands to control apps and services, including Gemini. A demo showed a user ordering coffee simply by talking to the glasses. The move marks Google's return to smart glasses following the infamous failure of Google Glass, as competitors like Meta continue to invest heavily in the space.
