Google Gemini 4 Argon Debuts for Cybersecurity Defenders
Google has begun rolling out Gemini 4 Argon, its latest frontier AI model, exclusively to vetted cybersecurity defenders through its Fairwind Program, which includes over 650 organizations such as CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks. Argon outperforms Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 and OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra on 12 of 18 benchmarks, with a 1 million token output limit. Internally, Google teams are using Argon to convert C and C++ code to Rust and free over 300 tebibytes of data center memory. Pricing starts at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens.
