Google Cloud Adds Science-Focused AI Research Models

Google Cloud will offer SandboxAQ's large quantitative models on its marketplace, enabling researchers to combine Google's Gemini language models with AI systems trained on scientific equations and lab data. Unlike large language models designed for text generation, large quantitative models are trained on numerical data to tackle complex problems in chemistry, biology and physics.
