Google Brings Private Persistent AI Memory to Cloud
Google has unveiled a major update to its Private AI Compute platform, introducing secure server-side memory that maintains on-device privacy standards. Encrypted cloud storage keeps user data locked behind cryptographic keys held only on personal devices, making it inaccessible even to Google itself.
The breakthrough moves beyond previous stateless cloud AI processing, enabling seamless, continuous assistance across devices like smart glasses, phones, and laptops. To build user trust, Google is publishing a tamper-proof public record of its server software and sharing results from an independent cybersecurity audit.
