Gemini AI may call your contacts for you

Google appears to be expanding its Call for Me AI feature to personal contacts, not just businesses. Android Authority found a Gemini Calling introductory screen in an APK teardown showing example prompts such as Call Mom and tell her I will be 15 minutes late and Call John and ask if he is coming for dinner, suggesting the feature could soon let users send spoken messages to friends and family via Gemini.
