Four AI Agents Cut IaC Dev Time Dramatically

AWS Professional Services built a four-agent pattern using the Strands Agents SDK on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to support a 300+ application cloud migration program. The pattern reduced infrastructure as code development time from 3 to 4 weeks per application to minutes. It runs alongside AWS Transform and AWS DMS rather than replacing them, adding custom agents where organization-specific requirements apply. The four agents handle intake, IaC generation, migration governance, and post-cutover SRE operations. Each agent connects to internal systems through Model Context Protocol tools exposed via AgentCore Gateway.
