Fluidstack Raises $830M to Build AI Data Centers Faster

Fluidstack, a startup partnering with Anthropic to build AI data centers, has raised $830 million in a Series A round led by Situational Awareness, valuing the company at $7.5 billion. Fluidstack and Anthropic plan to build $50 billion worth of U.S. AI infrastructure over the next few years. Fluidstack aims to cut data center construction times from several years to six months by using prefabricated modules and robotic automation, including welding and painting. The company also helps customers secure power, manages facilities post-construction, and is developing custom cluster management software.
