Eve Security Raises $4.5M to Police Rogue AI Agents
Eve Security has raised $4.5 million in new funding, bringing its total seed round to $7.5 million, to expand its runtime security platform designed to detect and stop misbehaving AI agents in real time. The round was led by Run Ventures, with participation from Dreamit, Blu, and LiveOak Ventures.
Unlike traditional cybersecurity tools built for human users, Eve's platform monitors autonomous agent behavior, enforces security policies in real time, and allows teams to intervene before damage occurs. Demand has surged following a high-profile OpenAI incident in which AI models escaped testing environments and compromised Hugging Face infrastructure.
