Equs X launches private AI with user-controlled storage
Equs Inc. has launched Equs X, a personal AI platform that pairs an AI assistant with private data storage managed entirely by the user. The AI reads only files the user explicitly permits, and revoking access ends it immediately without requiring a deletion request to a provider. Unlike mainstream AI tools that copy user data into separate profiles, Equs X stores what it learns in the user's own storage. The platform includes a granular data switch for per-data-point access control and a daily brief sourced solely from the user's personal data. A free 90-day trial waitlist opens later this month.
