Enveda Raises $311M for Nature-Derived AI Drugs

Enveda, a biotech startup using AI to discover drugs from plants and microbes, has raised $311 million in a Series E round led by Catalio Capital Management, valuing the company at $2 billion. The raise doubles its valuation from just 12 months ago. Founded in 2019 by former Recursion Pharmaceuticals employee Viswa Colluru, Enveda is advancing several AI-discovered drug candidates into human clinical trials. Current programs include treatments for severe skin conditions and a drug to help patients maintain weight loss after stopping GLP-1 medications.
