Deepgram pushes voice AI to air-gapped laptops
Deepgram is working to run its voice AI models natively on laptops, including air-gapped devices, according to staff technical program manager Nick Mann. The company, which expanded its Flux model to 10 languages earlier this year, already serves customers who self-host its models on-premises. A partnership with Fortanix brings private voice AI to regulated industries, while Dell Technologies supplies infrastructure and hosts Deepgram models in its Customer Solution Center Innovation Lab. Mann said deployments range from small Nvidia GB10 systems to large enterprise setups, with student laptops as the next frontier.
