Corning Lands $6B Meta, Nvidia AI Fiber Deals
Corning has secured major multi-year supply agreements with Meta and Nvidia to provide optical connectivity for AI infrastructure. The Meta deal alone is valued at up to $6 billion through 2030, while Nvidia is directly funding new U.S. production capacity expected to increase Corning's optical output tenfold.
Corning's Optical Communications sales rose 36% year over year in Q1 2026, and shares have surged over 100% in the past twelve months. Analysts warn the stock trades above intrinsic value estimates, and risks include heavy reliance on a small group of hyperscale customers and significant capital expenditure requirements ahead.
