Cornerstone cuts database diagnosis time by 78%

Cornerstone OnDemand built Orion AI, a multi-agent system using Amazon Bedrock and AWS Strands Agents, to overhaul its database operations. Before Orion AI, engineers spent up to 45 minutes per incident manually querying system views and cross-referencing logs. The new system reduced diagnosis time to 10 minutes, cut manual lifecycle steps from 10-plus to a single interaction, eliminated a 15-minute reporting lag between teams, and reduced redundant alerts by a median of 65%. A three-person team delivered the system in six months.
