CoreWeave AI Engineers Embedded Inside Aston Martin F1

CoreWeave has placed forward-deployed AI engineers inside the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, applying infrastructure expertise gained from top AI labs to motorsport. Each car generates a million data points per second, and teams must convert that into setup decisions between practice and qualifying. One early project used AI to monitor 40 radio channels simultaneously, summarizing competitor activity in real time and learning driver-specific terminology. CoreWeave SVP Richard Ahlfeld and Aston Martin's Eric Ernst emphasized that not every problem requires AI, and that engineers must first assess the process before introducing technology.
