Commvault Becomes Native Azure Resilience Service
Commvault has signed a multiyear partnership with Microsoft to embed its data security and cyber recovery tools directly into the Azure cloud platform. Azure customers can now provision and use Commvault's resilience services without separate infrastructure or manual integration, with billing available through the Microsoft marketplace and counting toward Azure Consumption Commitments. The deal builds on a 25-year relationship between the two companies, with joint co-selling efforts planned to accelerate adoption. Commvault's native Azure service is expected to enter public preview this summer, as the company positions itself for AI-driven enterprise needs and rising cyber threats.
