Claude Opus 5.5 Launches on Amazon Bedrock

Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 is now available on Amazon Bedrock and Claude Platform on AWS. The model delivers improved efficiency for agentic coding, knowledge work, and long-running tasks, with lower per-token pricing and cheaper cache reads than its predecessor. Opus 5.5 features always-on adaptive thinking, clearer communication during task execution, and built-in safety classifiers covering biology, cybersecurity, and AI development. Developers can access it via the Amazon Bedrock console, Boto3 SDK, Converse API, or the Anthropic Messages API.
