Claude Launches Blueprint for AI Commerce Agents

Anthropic has released a commerce agent blueprint for Claude, helping retailers, marketplaces, and travel companies build AI shopping tools in days. Partners including Shopify, Priceline, Accenture, Mastercard, and Visa are already involved, with deployment options across major cloud platforms. The blueprint includes two core agents: a shopping agent that handles product search, cart building, and customer service within a single conversation, and a merchant agent that analyzes sales data, manages inventory, and drafts marketing campaigns. Human approval is required before any merchant-side changes go live.
