Claude in Chrome Now Available on All Paid Plans

Anthropic has made Claude in Chrome generally available for all paid Claude plan users. The browser extension can now take autonomous actions, including reading pages, clicking links, filling forms, and navigating websites using existing logins, without requiring approval for every step. A key focus has been defending against prompt injection attacks, where malicious instructions hidden in web content attempt to hijack the AI agent. Anthropic deployed trained probes, action-verifying classifiers, and expanded model training to counter these threats. Evaluations show no successful attacks against the latest Claude models in testing.
