Cisco is reportedly in talks to acquire Tel Aviv-based AI agent security startup Astrix Security for between $250 million and $350 million, roughly three times the company's total funding raised. Astrix investors include Workday and an Anthropic-backed fund. Astrix's platform automatically discovers AI agents across company networks, detects vulnerabilities, manages non-human identities, and revokes malicious agent access without manual input. The potential deal follows Cisco's announcement of another AI security acquisition, Galileo Technologies, just one day prior.
