Chrome's New AI Skills Save Your Favorite Prompts

Google is rolling out a new Chrome feature called Skills, letting users save and reuse AI prompts powered by Gemini across different web pages. Accessible via a forward slash or plus button, Skills can automate tasks like recipe substitutions, shopping comparisons, and document summaries without retyping prompts each time. Google is also launching a Skills library with pre-built workflows for productivity, shopping, budgeting, and more. The feature rolls out today to desktop users signed into their Google account, but currently only works with Chrome set to English (US).
