Chrome May Route All Searches Directly to AI

Google is testing a hidden Chrome Canary flag that sends search queries straight to AI Mode, bypassing traditional results pages with blue links. The experimental feature, called Fulfill Searchbox Queries in AI Mode, has been confirmed working and appears more polished than typical prototypes. Google has not publicly announced the test, and a developer note states there are no current plans to launch it. The move follows growing AI integration across Google products, which has already driven users toward alternatives like DuckDuckGo.
