ChatGPT Pro Gets Personal Finance Dashboard Features

OpenAI has launched personal finance features in ChatGPT Pro, currently available in preview to select U.S. users. The tool connects to over 12,000 banks via Plaid, offering spending dashboards, portfolio analysis, subscription audits, and multi-year budget planning powered by GPT-5.5 Thinking. OpenAI plans to expand access to all users over time. Future versions of ChatGPT will move beyond advice to taking direct actions, such as submitting credit card applications. The company built a custom benchmark with 50-plus financial professionals to measure and improve the chatbot's performance.
