ChatGPT launches virtual clothing try-on feature

OpenAI has globally launched two new ChatGPT shopping features: a virtual try-on tool and a Favorites function. The try-on feature lets users upload a selfie or full-body photo to visualize how clothing or accessories might look on them, with a Try On button appearing in shopping results. Users can also upload screenshots of items to try on. The Favorites option saves discovered products to an in-app Library. Both features use the new ChatGPT Images 2.5 model. Google launched a similar virtual try-on feature last year, and Pinterest and Google already dominate fashion discovery.
