ChatGPT Can Now Read and Send Your Texts

OpenAI has launched an Apple Messages plug-in for ChatGPT, letting users connect their Messages inbox to the chatbot. It can sort, analyze, draft, send, and delete messages, and works with Codex and ChatGPT Work for professional use. The feature raises privacy concerns, though OpenAI says it runs locally and does not index all messages. The company warns users against enabling persistent approval, noting it removes the chance to review messages before ChatGPT sends them on your behalf.
