AWS Security Hub Now Covers Azure, Adds AI Defenses
Amazon Web Services is expanding AWS Security Hub to natively monitor Microsoft Azure resources, including virtual machines, containers and user identities. The multicloud capability is generally available today, displaying Azure findings alongside AWS alerts in a unified format.
AWS also launched GuardDuty AI Protection to combat credential-based "cost harvesting" attacks targeting foundation models, plus AI-powered investigation tools to reduce alert fatigue. A new AI Inventory feature automatically discovers and tracks AI assets across managed and self-hosted environments at no extra cost. The Security Hub partner ecosystem also expanded to 21 integrated third-party tools.
