AWS Security Hub Expands to Azure, AI Protection
Amazon Web Services has updated Security Hub to monitor Microsoft Azure resources and protect AI workloads, positioning it as a unified security control plane for multicloud and AI environments. The update adds Azure Virtual Machine, container, and identity monitoring alongside AWS findings in a single console, powered by AWS Config for near-real-time evaluation.
On the AI front, AWS introduced GuardDuty AI Protection to detect threats like prompt injection and inference cost harvesting, plus an AI-powered investigation tool that auto-generates confidence scores, MITRE ATT&CK mappings, and recommended actions to reduce analyst alert fatigue.
