AWS Launches Dual-Layer AI Agent Monitoring System

AWS has introduced a dual-layer monitoring approach for production multi-agent systems, combining Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Evaluations and AWS DevOps Agent. The system addresses gaps traditional infrastructure monitoring misses, such as agents silently failing or routing requests incorrectly without triggering error alerts. Built around a demo airline reservation system with four specialized agents, AgentCore Evaluations continuously scores live interactions for helpfulness and goal completion, while AWS DevOps Agent autonomously investigates infrastructure incidents, tracing failures across service boundaries and correlating IAM policies and logs without manual intervention.
