AWS Guides Customers on ISO AI Governance Standard

AWS is helping organizations align with ISO/IEC 42005:2025, an international standard for AI system impact assessments. The standard guides organizations on how to identify AI risks, integrate assessments into existing enterprise risk management processes, and establish repeatable evaluation cycles. AWS has achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification for services including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q Business, and offers tools such as an AIMS implementation guide and a Well-Architected Framework Responsible AI Lens to support customers in adopting structured, standards-based AI governance practices.
