AWS Cuts AI Agent Setup From Days to Minutes
Amazon Web Services has updated Amazon Bedrock AgentCore with a managed agent harness and new CLI tools that reduce AI agent infrastructure setup from days to minutes. The framework-agnostic platform handles compute, authentication, storage, and orchestration automatically, letting developers focus on agent behavior rather than backend configuration.
The update also introduces prebuilt skills for popular coding assistants including Kiro, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, giving AI coding tools up-to-date knowledge of AgentCore best practices. The managed agent harness launches in preview across four regions, while the CLI and coding assistant skills are available in all existing AgentCore regions.
