AWS Aurora Now Queries Data Lakes In Place

AWS has launched a new Aurora capability that allows users to query data lakes without moving the data. The feature addresses a longstanding challenge in modern data stacks, where companies build complex pipelines to shuttle data between databases and data lakes. Eliminating the need to move data reduces the associated technical challenges and overhead that come with managing those pipelines.
