Atlassian Deepens Google Cloud AI Partnership

Atlassian has expanded its multiyear Google Cloud partnership, integrating its Rovo agent platform with Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise while shifting key AI training workloads to Google's infrastructure. The company is building on Google Kubernetes Engine and AI Hypercomputer, with Gemini 3 Flash powering select Rovo capabilities including the new Remix in Confluence feature. The partnership introduces cross-platform integrations allowing Rovo to operate inside Gemini Enterprise and enabling Google Workspace to query Atlassian data via a Model Context Protocol server. Joint customers can pull Jira data into Google Docs or Gmail without switching applications, with both companies promising automated workflows spanning their combined platforms.
