Apple launches smart display, HomePod, TV upgrades

Apple unveiled a new smart display called HomeView, a HomePod mini 2 speaker, and an upgraded Apple TV 4K set-top box. HomeView comes in wall-mounted and tabletop editions, features facial recognition for up to six users, and auto-adjusts brightness. HomePod mini 2 runs on an Apple S10 chip and supports Siri. Apple TV 4K uses a custom A19 chip with up to 50% faster CPU and twice the GPU speed. Apple also introduced the Apple Home Collection, a lineup of cameras, a door lock, and thermostats developed with LG and Schneider Electric.
