Apple Intelligence Launches in China via Alibaba, Baidu

China's Cyberspace Administration has approved Apple Intelligence for launch in China, following a deal to integrate Alibaba's Qwen AI model into Apple's operating systems. Baidu has also confirmed a partnership with Apple to develop AI features for Chinese users. The approvals are significant for Apple, which generated $20.5 billion in Greater China sales last quarter. Apple is also reportedly exploring integrations with DeepSeek and ByteDance, as it works to expand its AI presence in one of its most important markets.
