Anthropic's Cowork AI Agent Goes Mobile and Web

Anthropic has expanded its Claude Cowork agentic AI assistant beyond the desktop to mobile and web platforms. Previously, users had to remain at their computer to monitor tasks. Now they can start work on a laptop, step away, and manage or monitor progress remotely. Scheduled tasks can also run without a computer being online. The update launches in beta for Max subscribers, who pay $100 to $200 monthly. A companion report analyzing 1.2 million anonymized sessions found business process and operations was the top use case at 33.4%, followed by content creation at 16.4%, with software development, research, and document processing among other leading categories.
